Front desk/ sales associate

Job Description

  • Enthusiastically greets each member 
  • Provides security and control to the front door and retail area of the facility. 
  • Personally checks each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures.
  • Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts and follows procedure to bring accounts current
  • Answers phone by the third ring in a professional and courteous manner and uses proper phone greeting techniques.
  • Responsible for following up on sales leads 
  • Must be able to generate leads, close sales, and client retention.
  • Attends all staff meetings as directed.
  • Cleans and maintains the front desk area according to Company standards
  • Makes sure that all clients clean and sanitize after the use of equipment and also follows behind to ensure double cleaning. 
  • Notifies management of gym incidents that requires incident reports.
  • Works when scheduled and adheres to company attendance policies. 
  • Attends trade shows, events, and fundraising opportunities to promote the fitness center.


Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills are required.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally, non-verbally and in writing is required

• Understanding of basic cash processing procedures

• Functional computer skills are required.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays and weekends. 

• Must be able reasonably lift weights and equipment and stand for extended periods of time

Cafe manager

Job Description

 

  • Communicates directly with employees/leadership team to maintain same practices and secure policy and procedure at all levels of the operation. Communicates goals to team effectively and motivates others.
  • Monitors inventory levels and communicates with vendors to maintain business relationships and secure appropriate pricing
  • Responsible for ensuring that all financial duties and reporting are completed accurately, including all administrative tasks and payroll and personnel activities.
  • Seeks to grow customer base and increase store traffic by creating and leading promotions within and outside the store as well as maintaining functional, efficient, pleasant store environment.
  • Seeks to increase sales, monitors weekly and monthly P&L data and works to increase bottom-line profits.
  • Reports performance information to corporate officers.
  • Helps to organize marketing efforts, including overseeing social media presence, completion of sampling and seasonal promotional goals and events.
  • Leads and models overall culture, values, mission, and spirit of the Cafe Bari and BYOB FITNESS CENTER. 
  • Ensures store appearance is maintained at all times, including Café seating area,condiment bar, and service stations. 
  • Ensures proper equipment functionality and performs or enforces completion of regular equipment maintenance.

Cafe Bari Team Member

Job Description

  • Follow recipes as listed for all items, be expected to learn all menu items in complete detail
  • Team members must always be in proper uniform 
  • Team members are on their feet for most of their work shift and may be occasionally asked to clean, move, or lift heavy objects, such as tables and chairs or kitchen equipment
  • Assist customers in sales purchases, and provide up-sell information 
  • Team members handle all forms of money during their work shift. They are required to follow appropriate cash-out procedures or use a point of sale system to record a customer’s total and help them pay their bill. Team members collect payments from guests, returning the appropriate amount of change.
  • Team members works to keep up the appearance of the cafe. During down times or in-between shifts, team members clean, sanitize, wipe down, or sweep areas where food is prepped or served. They also re-set seating area, restocking dining utensils and menus to ensure every guest has what they need.
  • Ensuring we follow all in house and CDC guidelines
  • Team members may be asked to assist in duties associated with BYOB FITNESS CENTER 
  • Assist in inventory control by routinely recording and maintaining the correct quantity on hand and sending up requests for items that needed to be restocked.
  • Stocked with incoming inventory
  • Maintain a sanitary environment as approved by the health inspector by washing down workstation and seating area 
  • Perform janitorial duties at the close of the day

byob fitness Personal Trainer & or Group Instructor

Job Descriptions

  • Adhere to all BYOB FITNESS standards and policies 
  • Evaluate clients’ fitness levels and health conditions
  • Build individualized exercise programs 
  • Explain exercises in detail and suggest alternatives if needed
  • Monitor progress of clients’ fitness levels 
  • Explain safe and proper use of gym equipment
  • Lead both individual and group training sessions
  • Research on new exercise techniques and trends
  • Promote the gym’s fitness packages and plans
  • Perform CPR and administer first aid in case of emergencies
  • Inform clients about gym safety, hygiene guidelines, and following proper CDC guidelines
  • Build a positive and trusting relationship with clients
  • Advise customers on how to change nutritional and lifestyle habits as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a personal trainer or relevant role
  • Knowledge of various fitness programs, from basic exercises to more challenging training sessions
  • Ability to guide and motivate clients
  • Available to work flexible hours
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Certificates in CPR and first aid (if not must be independently obtained within first 90 days of employment)
